Myrtle BeachEach year, High Note Trips helps thousands of directors, parents, and students plan and take exciting and educational trips. We understand that planning a trip can be a daunting task. There are lots of questions:

Trip planning can be time consuming and aggravating. Finding a hotel, getting tickets, trying to fit it all into a few days, and wondering if you are getting the best deal – it can all be overwhelming.

With High Note Trips, put your anxieties aside and worries in the drawer. Trip planning has never been this easy. We plan the ideal trip for your small group or your entire music program.

Where to Begin

Trips are a wonderful opportunity for your students to experience performing in a professional environment, with professional groups, and for world-renown adjudicators. Students look forward to the trips (which are often great recruiting tools). Parents love being part of a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our directors love that they don’t have to plan the trips!

clockYou know your students best. Think about the kind of musical experiences you want them to have. Which performances, activities, and places would they enjoy? Always keep in mind that you cannot take a trip alone. You'll need lots of parental support. How far, long, and expensive a trip is can determine how many parents can help.

Where to Go

How far you travel is often a question of time. If you only have a few days, you may want to choose a destination within a days drive.White House with tulips Many groups drive through the night to arrive at their destination. This means you can enjoy a full day of activities without adding on another night in a hotel. You can also depart at the end of the day, again, saving you a nights lodging.

Longer trips mean you can go farther away, increase the number of performances, and not lose out on options.

Keep in mind that some festivals and events only take place on certain dates, thus limiting your travel dates and destinations.

Each of these factors can help you determine where to take your group.
